Hours: 40 Hours per week Monday Friday 08.00 17.00 with 1 hour unpaid lunch break
Job Summary
To maintain and develop the relationship between Ardo UK, its customers, and suppliers through timely response to technical enquiries. To further the reputation of Ardo UK Technical department via the provision of a premier technical service. To aid in the development and maintenance of Ardo UK Quality Management Systems and related procedures.
Participating in NPD projects and discussions. Managing the technical expectations for the key customer accounts. Providing competent, efficient, and comprehensive technical support to both internal and external customers.
Leadership & Teamwork
Lead by example and take a hands-on operational approach.
Contribute ideas and solutions to improve the teams service delivery.
Have a solution lead approach.
Support other members of the technical team regarding issues as they arise.

Communicate with other relevant departments within Ardo UK and within Group.

Handle competing priorities effectively, making sound decisions are made and taking the appropriate action.
Meet deadlines within the set timeframes given on projects.
Regularly evaluate task progress and adjust accordingly.

Responsibilities & Expertise
Understand customer requirements and ensure they are relayed within the business, managing the customers expectation at every step of the journey.
Handling, logging, investigating, and responding to customer complaints.
Carry out internal audits.
Liaising with customers, consumers, and suppliers where necessary.
Support Technical Manager preparing and during customer audits.
Assist the site HACCP team.
Monitor labelling, ensuring it displays all correct and specified information.
Cover for all team members in their absence or as required.
Issue certificate of analysis for customers as agreed with the commercial team.
To work with other team members on Ardo UKs customer portfolio/projects
Flexibility and willingness in this position is key.
Responsible for driving vendor compliance which requires someone with the ability to build strong, sustainable relationships.
Completing customer questionnaires when required
Looking at ways to maintain the quality of the finished product as agreed.
Ensuring quality and safety standards are in place for all NPD and current lines.
Ensuring all products are produced to specification and following up on any deviations, correcting any issues.

Compliance
Maintain a full understanding of the legal requirements, required within both the departments and the business, to be able to operate with full legal compliance.
Personally comply with all policies, procedures and risk assessments relevant to role and responsibilities.
Qualifications And Experience
Minimum of Food Safety training and HACCP Level 3
Minimum of 3 years experience within the Food Manufacturing Industry
Good level of PC literacy
Proactive attitude
Excellent time management
Ability to work on own initiative but also as a team
Understanding of Microbiology and hazards
Experience with retail standards and expectations
Ability to navigate and create specifications, questionnaires and SAQs.
