Job summary

Fish Brothers Toyota in Swindon is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to service, maintain and repair Toyota vehicles to manufacturer standards. You will diagnose faults using modern equipment, complete warranty work and document findings clearly for customers.

We offer training, a supportive workshop, and opportunities to progress within a world-leading brand while working a 40-hour week with overtime and achievable bonus potential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Service & Repair or equivalent.
• Previous experience as Vehicle Technician in a dealership or garage.
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to Toyota manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose and investigate vehicle faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Complete warranty repairs and associated paperwork accurately.
• Carry out vehicle health checks and clearly report any findings.
• Work efficiently to meet workshop requirements while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Support colleagues across the workshop to deliver an excellent experience for our customers.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with manufacturer and company procedures.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will:

What We’re Looking For

You’ll need:

• NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Service & Repair, or an equivalent qualification
• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership, independent garage or similar environment
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• A positive, team-focused approach
• Pride in the quality of your work
• A full UK driving licence

Previous Toyota experience would be an advantage, but it isn’t essential. If you’re an experienced Technician from another manufacturer or an independent workshop and you’re looking for the opportunity to develop your career with Toyota, we’d be very happy to hear from you.
