Job Summary

The Repair Determination Inspector conducts detailed inspections to assess damage or defects on aircraft components, using specialized knowledge to evaluate reparability, repair options, and costs.

Job Responsibilities

Inspectors perform preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process, and final inspections on civil aviation articles, following current technical data, manufacturer’s instructions, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, industry standards, and other acceptable data.

• Ensure familiarity with inspection methods, techniques, tools, and equipment within their responsibility area.
• Maintain proficiency and proper calibration of inspection aids and tools.
• Understand current specifications, tolerances, limitations, and procedures established by the manufacturer.
• Perform and record inspections accurately, ensuring proper documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Diploma or Professional Certificate in engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical).
• At least 2 years of experience in inspection processes.
• Knowledge of C7 rating and ATA 72 standards.
