Job Summary

The Repair Determination Inspector conducts detailed inspections to assess damage or defects on aircraft components, using specialized knowledge to evaluate reparability, repair options, and costs.

Job Responsibilities

Inspectors perform preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process, and final inspections on civil aviation articles, following manufacturer’s instructions, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, industry standards, and other accepted data.

• Ensure familiarity with inspection methods, techniques, tools, and equipment; maintain proficiency and proper calibration; understand current specifications and inspection tolerances; perform and record inspections accurately; and execute other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Diploma or professional certification in engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical).
• At least 2 years of experience in inspection processes.
• Knowledge of C7 rating and ATA 72.
