Job Title: Technician – Painting and Decorating

Location: Lowestoft

Hours: Full Time – 37 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Band E - £23970.00 FTE

Are you an experienced Painter Decorator? Do you know your emulsion from your gloss, your marbling from your sponging? Perhaps you’d just relish the opportunity to develop students’ skills?

With our highly experienced and knowledgeable Construction Curriculum Team here at East Coast College, students’ skills and knowledge are developed through a range of methods and up to date industry techniques. Offering Level 1 and Level 2 in Painting and Decorating, this is a great opportunity to impart your skills and knowledge on the next generation of qualified and competent Painters and Decorators.

The Role:
  • Setting up the workshop ready for assessments
  • Being on hand to help with any technical issues
  • Supporting the tutor with workshop preparation and delivery
  • Building rapport with students and encouraging their aspirations
