Windsor Forest Colleges Group - Technician (Laboratory)

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Technician – Laboratory to join our Berkshire College of Agriculture team starting September 2025. This is a permanent, part-time role, working 20 hours per week during term-time (38 weeks per year).

Role Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across laboratories on the BCA campus.
• Prepare and manage laboratory resources, including equipment, chemicals, materials, apparatus, samples, and specimens.
• Ensure laboratory safety and maintenance compliance, adhering to health and safety standards, COSHH regulations, and basic equipment maintenance.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should hold at least a Level 3 qualification in a relevant scientific discipline (Biology or Chemistry), have experience working in a scientific laboratory, and be capable of setting up and dismantling scientific equipment as needed.
