The service must meet the unit specification and workmanship standards, utilizing a range of specialist and general equipment to investigate and diagnose faults, carry out rectification work, and then measure and test, fault find the final assemblies and sub-assemblies.

Skills

• Evaluating units, investigating and diagnosing fault conditions down to component level.
• Prioritising and planning work to meet output targets.
• Utilising SAP to order spare parts and components for repairs.
• Carrying out modifications, rectifications, and rework to units.
• Building test jigs, boxes, or loads to simulate customer applications.
• Maintaining and repairing test equipment.
• Responding to customer queries.
• Conducting FA investigations to enable Quality to compile reports.
• Using SAP RMA System to progress and update service work.
• Adhering to the Company’s Quality Management System and Health and Safety Policy.
• Following the Company’s Environmental Policy and Environmental Management System procedures, including COSHH, waste disposal, energy and water conservation, and paper conservation.

Experience

• Previous experience with high voltage power supplies.
• Ability to read, understand, and identify issues with circuit drawings.
