A leading performing arts institution in Liverpool is seeking a Filmmaking Technician to manage equipment and provide technical support. We are seeking to recruit a Filmmaking Technician for our Technical Services Team. The role involves supporting equipment used on our Filmmaking & Creative Technologies and Acting (Screen & Digital) courses. The postholder will coordinate administration and operational oversight for film production both on and off campus, assist the Technical Services Manager in supporting curriculum delivery, supervise and maintain equipment, and handle bookings and events with a customer-facing approach.
The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent in a relevant field, with thorough knowledge of digital video equipment, including cameras and live digital mixing systems. Experience with configuring digital audio/video networks is advantageous. Excellent communication skills and an organized, methodical work approach are essential.
This position is available to start immediately. The closing date for applications is Monday 11th August 2025 at 1pm. Interviews are scheduled for either the week commencing 18th or 28th August 2025. CVs will not be accepted.
