You’ll help keep our nation moving every day by supporting essential maintenance of the rail network. As a technician, you'll work outdoors in a team, ensuring safety and smooth operation of the railway. No prior rail experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive training to develop your skills and ensure safe working practices.
You’ll specialize in maintaining, inspecting, and repairing the track network (P-Way). This manual role involves working with rails, sleepers, ballast, drainage, and structures, often in challenging conditions and near moving trains. Safety, teamwork, and adherence to rules are critical.
Salary: £35,785
Two roles available. Interviews scheduled for w/c 26 May or w/c 2 June. Start date: w/c 28 July. Training begins w/c 4 August. Deadline: 16/05/25. Apply now.
