Details

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled technician to join our team. You will provide efficient technical service, ensuring optimal organisation, maintenance, and preparation of teaching/assessment spaces and equipment. You will support specialist technologies and assist students and academic staff before, during, and after teaching sessions, handle routine cleaning and maintenance, and order consumables. The role involves both independent work and team collaboration.

Essential skills include good organisation and time management, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and technical experience in a clinical, teaching, or NHS environment. A positive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated attitude is essential. Candidates should have a BTEC National level qualification or equivalent work experience, along with Health & Safety knowledge and training (COSHH, risk assessment, manual handling).

This is a permanent full-time position, 35 hours per week. Please note, this role is not eligible for sponsorship under the skilled worker route; candidates must demonstrate their own right to work in the UK.

Salary: £25,448 - £28,381 PA
