Diagnostic Technician - BMW/MINI Salisbury

Salary: £43,409 Basic plus uncapped OTE based on individual performance, team profit, and CSI bonus

Hours: 45-hour working week with weekends on a rota basis

The role

As a Diagnostic Technician, you will join a team supporting one of our popular brands in state-of-the-art facilities. Full manufacturer training is provided, so brand experience is not required. Ongoing manufacturer-specific training and our Marshall Academy will keep you updated with the latest technology.

Who you are

• Experienced Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with the ability to work efficiently
• Team player comfortable with set processes and procedures
• Qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry-recognized qualification (Level 3 IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
• Mot qualification is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
• Motivated, organized, and focused on Health & Safety
• Tech-savvy and confident using iPad software

What you’ll do

• Service and maintain vehicles across the brand
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults, including warranty work
• If qualified, perform Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties
• Complete job cards and electronic write-ups on franchise platforms
• Conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs)
• Support Apprentice Technicians as needed
