Job Description:

Windsor Forest College Group is looking for a Technician Art & Design / Artist in residence to join the Strodes team on a full-time basis.

This is a 3-day-a-week role.

Role Overview:

We seek an enthusiastic, highly competent technician to join our art and design department. The ideal candidate will have proven practical skills, be well-organized, enthusiastic, creative, able to work independently and as part of a team. The Art Technician collaborates closely with all members of the Art Department, assisting in lesson preparation and providing practical support for staff and students. Good communication and time management skills are essential, along with the ability to relate well to students. Candidates could be qualified artists, have an art-related background, or possess the qualities mentioned above, with an easy manner and enthusiasm for the subject.

Our department offers A Level courses in 3D Design, Fine Art, Graphics, Photography, Media, and Film Making. Facilities include a DT workshop, three kilns, potter's wheels, a printing press, darkroom, photographic studio, IT suites, and a green room.
