Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester - Birstall, West Yorkshire

GBP30,000 Salary - GBP35,000 + OTE

Are you a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician with a passion for cars? Do you have a current MOT licence and want to join a friendly and professional team?

A well-established and respected garage in West Yorkshire, is seeking a highly competent and experienced Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join our team. We are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality service and are looking for someone who shares our dedication to excellence.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle faults, including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
Carry out routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and brake checks.
Conduct thorough MOT tests in accordance with DVSA regulations.
Accurately record all work carried out and maintain clear and concise paperwork.
Advise customers on necessary repairs and maintenance requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Work effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:
Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
Current MOT Test Licence.
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
Experience in a fast-paced garage environment.
Knowledge of various vehicle makes and models.
Familiarity with vehicle diagnostic equipment.
Clean driving licence.
