Job description

We are assisting a privately-owned independent garage, based in Newquay, in their search for an experienced TECHNICIAN.

This is a rare and desirable opportunity to join a company with years of successful trading; the business enjoys an excellent reputation with a steady stream of loyal customers.

They need an experienced Technician, with a well-rounded skillset.

You’ll need to hold your NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent IMI / City and Guilds etc) and ideally be a current MOT Tester.

You’ll be working on all vehicle brands with daily activities extending to:

1. Servicing to manufacturer specifications
2. Maintenance (preventative and routine) – Cambelts, Clutches, DMF’s, Brakes, Exhaust Systems, and Suspension Components etc.
3. Repairs (major and minor)
4. MOT Testing (if accredited) and repairs

This is a Monday to Friday role, working in an up-to-date, well-maintained and equipped workshop alongside a friendly, welcoming team.
