Job Purpose:

• Receipting of samples – Booking into Alpha/Labware
• Preparation, grinding, and rolling of samples

Main Duties:

• Preparation and grinding/rolling of all soil samples. Full training will be provided.
• Preparing and weighing different sample matrices.
• Receipting samples on Alpha system.
• Rotating and disposing of stored retained samples.
• Prioritising workload daily based on post/courier arrival dates.
• Understanding and following Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintaining equipment, vehicles, and PPE cleanliness to uphold Cawood's credibility.
• Respecting and properly using company equipment and vehicles, reporting damages promptly.
• Working as part of a team, supporting colleagues, and maintaining morale.
• Ensuring safety at all times, reporting accidents and near misses immediately.
