Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a Premium Main Dealer, located in Bishop’s Stortford.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Benefits:

- Basic salary range of £32,000 to £41,000 depending on brand experience, with a realistic earning potential of an additional £10k - £12k in bonus
- A Great Training Programme through the manufacturer where over a period of time you will work towards becoming an accredited Technician; your salary will also increase as you pass each stage and in time working your way up to Master Technician level.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
- MOT Testing
- Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
- Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards

Requirements:

- A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Prior motor trade experience as a Vehicle Technician
- A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
- Dedicated and committed approach.

The salary of this role is up to £41,000 basic with OTE of £53,000.

Hours of work in this Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday – Full Time + Saturday rota worked 8.30am-1.00pm.
