Qualifications

  • Minimum of one-year experience in automotive, truck, or bus repair.
  • Hold or be eligible to possess a CDL license.
  • Willing to work toward ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections.
  • Complete required paperwork for repair orders and parts usage.
  • Make road calls as necessary.

DATTCO currently has a full-time technician opening in our School Bus Fleet Maintenance department.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles
  • Perform diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles
  • Complete required paperwork with regards to repair orders and parts usage
  • Make road calls
  • Own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions
  • Follow orders of the shop foreman or other supervisor

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma, trade school or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one-year experience in the field of automotive, truck or bus repair
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Driver’s license
  • Hold, or be eligible to possess, a CDL license
  • Hold, or be willing to work toward, ASE certifications
  • Possess the physical strength to safely perform all required tasks
