Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday - Friday between 8am and 6pm, Saturday on a rota basis.

Lookers JLR West London is recruiting for a Technician to join their workshop. You will work alongside experienced technicians, carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and performing additional repairs.

Reporting to the service manager, you will receive ongoing support and access to tools needed to perform at your best. We offer excellent career progression and training opportunities, including manufacturer accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training to advance your career.

Our technicians are vital to delivering first-class customer service. We welcome qualified Vehicle Technicians or experienced Mechanics from dealer groups or independent garages to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
  • Conduct vehicle services according to manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
  • Perform additional repairs once authorized by the customer
  • Complete warranty repairs per manufacturer’s guidelines and ensure relevant write-ups are done
  • Road test vehicles to ensure faults are rectified
  • Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard

Qualifications

  • Experience working within a workshop
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, eager to learn, and able to work to high standards
  • Full UK driving licence
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
  • MOT Licence is a bonus

Previous experience with the brand is advantageous but not essential, as full brand accreditation training can be provided.
