Job description

Birchwood Group is a forward-looking company with retail stores, workshops and facilities based across the south coast of Sussex and Hampshire.

We are seeking motivated and dynamic Technicians to join our team at our busy workshop facilities across our Hastings and Eastbourne dealerships.

Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:

• Carryout vehicle servicing and repairs
• Carryout basic diagnosis of vehicle faults
• Repair and rectify electrical and mechanical defects consistently to a high standard of workmanship
• Follow manufacturers recommended repair processes
• Carryout electronic vehicle health checks combined with video evidence
• Complete all associated administration including repair write-ups and warranty claim information
• Liaise with After-Sales Advisors and work as part of a team
• Carryout mandatory manufacturer training as and when required

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required:

• Previous experience as a vehicle technician in diagnostics, repairs, and servicing
• Full valid UK driving license (required)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good problem-solving skills and able to manage tasks efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail

Package:

Hours: 42.5 hours average per week, Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00, Saturdays 8:00-12:00 (1 in 3 on rota)

Holiday: 22 days per year + bank holidays
