Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £30,000 basic per annum; plus OTE up to £36,600

Hours: (42) Monday 8.30am to 5.00pm, Tuesday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm including Saturday mornings on a rota basis + joining bonus incentive up to £2,000!

Lookers Glasgow Land Rover are recruiting for a Technician to join their friendly team in a fast-paced workshop environment. You will play a vital role in the team, carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles.

You will report to the accomplished Service Manager, Robert Wilson, who will provide ongoing support to ensure you have the tools needed to succeed in your role. Our technicians play a vital role within our Service team by delivering first class customer service every time. If you’re a qualified Vehicle Technician or an experienced Mechanic, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities include:

• Carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles
• Fitting number plates
• Carrying out checks in line with manufacturers guidelines
• Fitting any additional accessories requested by the customer
• Conducting vehicle health checks and reporting any further work which may be required

The ideal candidate will have a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, motor industry experience, and a full and valid UK driving licence. You’ll be self-motivated, able to support your team, ambitious, eager to learn, and maintain the highest standards for all vehicles.
