Job summary

Suntory Oceania is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to support the Swanbank facility by creating and controlling documents to ensure audit readiness. This 12-month fixed-term contract role will see you produce SOPs, templates and training materials across packaging areas with QA and operations input.

You will drive document control, ensure GMP compliance and support continuous improvement in manufacturing hygiene and packaging processes.

Qualifications

• Documentation writing experience in manufacturing or food/beverage packaging.
• Knowledge of GMP, sanitation procedures and SOP structure.
• Strong stakeholder facilitation and ability to convert observations into clear procedures.
• Experience with document control systems preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• HACCP & FSSC22000 experience (highly desirable).
• Knowledge of ISO/GLP and hygiene principles in manufacturing.
• Experience in food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Convert the Packaging Line Hygiene and Sanitation plan into a complete set of controlled documents (master cleaning schedules, SOPs, check sheets, training materials, process flow and supporting templates) so the site can implement, train and deploy it across Packaging areas.
• Conduct site interviews, gather existing records, confirm stakeholders and templates.
• Produce SOPs, check sheets and training packs iteratively by area, incorporating validation runs with operations and QA.
• Conduct controlled document release and summary report.
