Northrop Grumman Australia partners with the Royal Australian Air Force to provide through-life support for its fleet of C-27J Spartan Airlifter aircraft. The C-27J complements the Australian Defence Force’s existing Air Mobility fleet and provides airlift of people, equipment and supplies to support Humanitarian Disaster Relief and crisis response in Australia and nearby regions.

Your Role
  1. Develop and update technical manuals and documentation by analysing engineering, military, regulatory, and manufacturer data from various sources.
  2. Conduct thorough research to support the creation and revision of technical publications.
  3. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to gather essential data for accurate and comprehensive technical documentation.
  4. Ensure the timely, precise, and efficient delivery of all Technical Publications outputs.
  5. Manage and resolve deficiencies and enhancement requests from Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations through the Publication Improvement Report & Reply (PIRR) process.
  6. Maintain compliance with security, intellectual property, and export control regulations across all technical publications.
About You
  1. You have an Aircraft Aviation background, either a highly skilled trade or qualified engineer.
  2. Experience in developing and authoring technical publications, as well as interfacing with operational and maintenance personnel in a dynamic operational work environment.
  3. Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings.
  4. Ability to obtain an AGSVA Security Clearance.
