Job description

This is an opportunity to join a highly respected, top-tier multi-strategy hedge fund in a core Valuation & IPV function, with exposure across a broad range of asset classes. The role sits at the centre of the investment platform and offers day-to-day interaction with trading, risk and technology teams.

You will report into the Head of Trading Operations, who has oversight across pricing, P&L, risk and technology, and work closely with portfolio managers across multiple strategies. The role covers intraday and end-of-day valuation, including maintaining and analysing marks, curves and models across listed and OTC products, owning the sign-off of official end-of-day prices, and supporting P&L explain and analysis. There is also meaningful scope to contribute to model development, new product setup and process improvement initiatives, supported by a heavily automated, best-in-class technology environment that allows the team to focus on higher-value analytical work rather than manual reconciliations.

They are keen to speak with professionals who have strong product fundamentals across one or more asset classes, and who enjoy working in a highly analytical, front-office-facing environment- this may be coming from structuring / risk / valuation / pricing / trade support etc. Strong academics and communication skills are essential, and experience in VBA, Python or SQL desirable.

They are prepared to pay a significant uplift from current base salary, and you can expect a bonus in line with the permanent hedge fund employees. The offices are extremely modern, with regular social events. This is 5 days in the office & can provide sponsorship.
