Talantir is seeking a rigorous Business Analyst for a Hedge Fund Platform to support decision-making across commercial and investment disciplines. You will build models, analyse partnerships, and craft dashboards that inform senior leadership.

You'll collaborate with investment managers and commercial teams, leveraging Python/SQL for data analysis, and contribute to due diligence and performance reviews in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong financial modelling and quantitative skillset.
• Experience with fund analysis, due diligence or alternative strategies preferred.
• Exposure to commercial modelling or deal structuring is advantageous.
• Strong data capabilities (Python, SQL, or similar).
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present to senior stakeholders.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Financial & Operational Modelling: Build bottom-up financial models covering revenue, costs and capacity.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and KPI tracking.
• Develop activity-based costing and profitability analysis.
• Deal Structuring & Commercial Analysis: Model partnership economics and revenue share structures.
• Support deal evaluation and prepare materials for investment/deal committees.
• Data & Analytics: Build datasets and dashboards across performance and commercial metrics; automate reporting using Python and BI tools.

This is a high-impact role offering direct exposure to senior leadership, involvement in key commercial and investment decisions, and the opportunity to work closely with top-tier hedge fund managers in a fast-paced, intellectually rigorous environment. The RoleA broad, multi-disciplinary role at the intersection of financial modelling, commercial deal structuring and investment analysis. You will play a key role in supporting decision-making across the business, including partnership economics, operational planning and investment manager assessment.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial & Operational Modelling

Candidate Profile

• Experience in investment analysis, strategy consulting, banking or similar analytical roles
• Strong financial modelling and quantitative skillset
• Experience with fund analysis, due diligence or alternative strategies preferred
• Exposure to commercial modelling or deal structuring is advantageous
• Strong data capabilities (Python, SQL, or similar)
