Delegated Authority Governance Associate

Our Delegated Underwriting Authority (DUA) Hub is in a key growth area within our business. We are looking to enhance our performance through modern management practices, creating a fantastic opportunity for a Delegated Authority Governance Associate to join our new team. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience and strong analytical skills who aspires to grow their career with the UK's leading Insurance, Wealth, and Retirement business.

About the role:

This role supports, implements, and develops service standards for the DUA Hub, ensuring effective onboarding and management of delegated underwriting authority relationships throughout their lifecycle. It adds value by maintaining service excellence and enabling strategic and tactical solutions across the DUA lifecycle. The individual will be part of a collaborative team focused on high-quality processes and risk management, supporting the Underwriting Community and Scheme Owners. Responsibilities include producing content, assisting with reporting, managing risk events, and providing accurate insights to senior management. The role offers significant autonomy, allowing the individual to own their subject matter and contribute to DUA segment development.

Skills and experience required:

  • Experience in Delegated Underwriting, Change, Commercial, or Operational Effectiveness roles within the insurance sector.
  • Proficiency in delivering accurate, relevant, and timely reports.
  • Beneficial experience with outsourcing and risk management software.
  • Proven ability to ensure regulatory compliance in reporting for UK and international standards.
  • Strong stakeholder management and team coordination skills to meet deadlines.
