We are currently recruiting for a Technical Financial Risks Underwriter to join our established and experienced Underwriting team here at RSA on a hybrid basis.

Your Role

Your role will include responsibility for responding to PI and FR referrals on New Business and Renewals, coordinating improvement plans, delivery of technical training, managing controls and service delivery activities to help drive strategic improvements across the Profin business. You will also work with the regional Underwriting Leads to provide Technical support on larger more complex risks and support negotiations with brokers.

Additional duties will include:

• Supporting calibration sessions alongside the Heads of PI and FR
• Analyse and Report on Profin KPI's
• Take an active role in change projects impacting Underwriting
• Be aware of and adhere to our regulatory framework at all times
• Progress through licence levels in accordance with development plan

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to hold an underwriting licence within PI and/or FR and be able to demonstrate Trading Underwriting skills. You should be able to demonstrate a good level of knowledge and be able to look at risks from a strategic point of view.

You should also be able to build relationships with the Underwriting Teams and the brokers we work with.
