Prestige Underwriting Services Ltd are looking for Technical Underwriter to join the team.

Working as part of the Technical Underwriting team you will provide assistance to the Technical Manager and other areas of the business to promote profitable growth of the Prestige Underwriting account.

What you'll be doing

• Contribute to the design and continuous development of the underwriting footprint of the Prestige product range.
• Undertake regular reviews of Prestige product range and conduct regular competitor analysis to boost and maintain the position of Prestige within the market.
• Develop and maintain the Prestige product Policy Wording's, IPID's, Underwriting guides, endorsement suites, along with any other product literature.
• Provide assistance with product development for existing and new core product ranges on inhouse platform and software houses.
• Regular and timely analysis of Prestige products to identify both opportunities for growth in profitable areas and to identify and suggest corrective action for poorer performing parts of the account.
• Assist with the set up and management of bespoke broker arrangement's including review of new and existing deals, delegated authority and trading agreements.
• Assist with management of conduct risk, product approval and governance.
• Assisting the Technical Manager with projects as required.

What you need

• 5 GCSE's grade C or above, including Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Experience in underwriting in the non standard home market of a minimum of 3 years.
• Insurance market knowledge.
• Experience of analysing data, producing reports and providing recommendations.
