Who We're Looking For

If you have a degree or hands-on experience in Engineering, Electronics, Mechanics, or Physics, and you're keen to transition into technical training, we want to hear from you! Prior experience as a Trainer, Instructor, or Lecturer is a plus, but not essential—we’ll provide the necessary training.

For those with direct Strategic Weapon System (SWS) experience, such as SWS Instructor, SWS Engineer, or Weapons Engineer, we encourage you to apply.

What you'll Be Doing

  • Delivering engaging technical training on the operation and maintenance of the Royal Navy’s Trident Strategic Weapon System (SWS).
  • Supporting both practical and theoretical training for the Royal Navy and industry partners at the Trident Training Facility.
  • Mentoring and guiding trainees, ensuring high standards of learning outcomes.
  • Reviewing and updating training documentation.
  • Working flexible shifts to support training programs.
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation, company policies, and Trident Programme standards.

    Required skills, qualifications and experience

  • Degree or hands-on experience in Engineering, Electronics, Mechanics, or Physics.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills—confidence in delivering training is key!
  • A motivated, adaptable, and reliable approach to work.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Flexibility to work shifts as needed.
