Job summary

A leading manufacturing company is seeking a motivated candidate for a position in their production team. This role will involve a variety of tasks within the Laboratory and Production environments, adhering to rigorous health and safety standards. Candidates must possess a relevant qualification in Chemistry along with a hands-on approach to learning and contributing to all aspects of the manufacturing process. Opportunities for training and progression to management are available.

Description

  1. Working in the Laboratory, Production, and Office
  2. Adhering to Health and Safety, Quality Control standards
  3. Production Costings
  4. Operating machinery such as foaming plant
  5. Manual handling
  6. Learning all aspects of the factory, including sweeping, loading vehicles, and running machines
  7. Pricing costings for products
  8. Overseeing the process from theoretical work to full-scale production
  9. Using Word and Excel spreadsheets
  10. Problem solving

Requirements

  • Candidates must have a minimum of A-Level/BTEC or a Degree in Chemistry, with physics and maths qualifications
  • Experience in rubber latex technology is advantageous
  • Must be hands-on and willing to learn all aspects of manufacturing
