Job summary

Nottingham Playhouse invites applications for an Apprentice Technician to join our Technical and Production team. This two-year, full-time apprenticeship offers hands-on experience across Stage, Lighting, Sound and Video while working towards a Level 3 Creative Industries Production Technician qualification.

You'll learn from experienced theatre professionals, gain practical skills, assist with get-ins, rehearsals and show operation, and have the opportunity to earn the ABTT Bronze Award.

Qualifications

• Two-year, full-time apprenticeship with structured learning.
• Willingness to learn across Lighting, Sound, Video and Stage.
• Opportunity to gain ABTT Bronze Award during training.

Responsibilities

• Develop practical skills across Lighting, Sound, Video and Stage.
• Assist with the technical delivery of Nottingham Playhouse productions.
• Help with get-ins, fit-ups, rehearsals, performances and show operation.
• Learn to interpret technical plans and drawings.
• Support safe working practices within technical theatre.
