Job summary

Landmark Theatres Ltd seeks a Technician to join the Technical Department at New Theatre & Key Theatre Peterborough. The role covers lighting, sound, rigging, and AV systems, supporting the Technical Manager to ensure safe, high-quality productions and events.

The ideal candidate has theatre tech experience, is proactive, and aligns with our values of customer care, safety, and collaboration. 40 hours weekly, evenings and weekends optional.

Qualifications

• Experience in live theatre environments and technical theatre operations.
• Proficiency with lighting and sound equipment used in productions.
• Ability to work across departments and support Health & Safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and support lighting, sound, rigging, and AV systems for productions.
• Attend production meetings, rehearsals, and performances as instructed.
• Provide day-to-day technical support and maintenance tasks.
• Assist with administrative tasks including rotas and risk assessments.
