Role Overview

The Technical Test Manager is responsible for establishing and leading test automation frameworks from scratch using Java. The role involves modernizing a significant desktop application towards cloud and mobile platforms, managing stakeholder relationships, and working in a global environment with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and implement test automation frameworks from scratch using Java.
2. Modernize existing desktop applications to cloud and mobile environments.
3. Manage relationships with senior business stakeholders, including C-suite executives.
4. Coordinate with global teams across different time zones, requiring flexibility in working hours.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven experience setting up test automation frameworks from scratch using Java.
• Significant experience (10+ years) in IT service delivery and quality assurance.
• At least 5 years in team leadership roles within IT.
• Extensive knowledge of testing methodologies and tools, including automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, etc.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL.
• Experience with test management tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging with senior management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management practices.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
