Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Technical Surveyor to join our growing construction client in Middlesbrough. You will survey projects, translate measurements into technical designs and coordinate drawings with the draughtsman.

You will produce system layouts, manage materials schedules, and handle procurement while traveling to sites across the UK. This role suits a hands-on surveyor with multi-project management experience and the drive to progress.

Qualifications

• Experience in metal roofing, cladding or similar construction sectors.
• Proven ability to survey sites and translate measurements into technical designs.
• Experience coordinating construction drawings and managing materials.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out measured roof surveys on new-build, refurbishment and re-roofing projects.
• Producing technical system layouts, panel schedules and materials take-offs.
• Coordinating construction drawings and checking technical details before issue.
• Managing materials procurement, supplier quotations and delivery schedules.
• Travelling to project sites across the UK.
