Are you aTechnical Support Technicianor design graduate with an interest in fire safety, product compliance, or performance testing? This could be your ideal next step.

We're working with a specialist manufacturer in the steel doors, frames, and windows sector, currently looking to bring in aTechnical Support Technicianto support their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build your technical skills and gain hands-on experience with fire resistance and security-tested products, working closely with experienced engineers and compliance specialists.

The Role:

  • Creating and updating 2D AutoCAD drawings for steel doors, windows, and frames
  • Supporting product design and fabrication documentation
  • Assisting with fire and security test documentation, certificates, and technical files
  • Learning how to interpret performance test reports and industry regulations
  • Helping maintain and understand compliance with BS, EN, and UKCA/CE standards
  • Liaising with internal teams and external customers across design, production and certification requirements

What We're Looking For:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD tools (through work or education)
  • Keen interest in fire testing, product safety, and compliance
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and willing to learn
  • Good communication skills and team mindset
  • Right to work in the UK/Europe
  • Monthly Travel to European Head Office

Requirement

Background in construction, glazing, fire doors, or timber products

  • Exposure to BS 476, EN 1634, or PAS 24 standards
  • Familiarity with certification schemes like Certifire, BM TRADA, or UL
  • Minimum two years in a similar role
  • Driving Licence
