Technical Support Supervisor

Offering GBP30,000 - GBP34,000 Basic Salary plus Benefits

Office based in the Harrogate area.

Our client is an established and well-respected engineering business. Due to continued growth, they are currently recruiting a Technical Support Supervisor to join their Technical Support team and provide accurate technical advice or support to both internal and external customers relating to their own products and all relevant regulations.

Technical Support Supervisor Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support the Technical Support Team whilst looking for ways to improve.
  • Support both internal and external customers with technical product queries.
  • Advise on product selection, specification, operation, installation, and maintenance.
  • Logging product faults and complaints, problem solving and fault finding, identifying any common faults, and escalating these for investigation.
  • Suggest solutions and possible technical improvements where possible.
  • Support product training to both internal and external departments.
  • Working closely with the R&D team to overcome problems relating to new products.
  • To continually study and ensure an acceptable understanding of building regulations, legislation, and other technical requirements.
Technical Support Supervisor - Candidate
  • Able to support, encourage, motivate and lead a team.
  • Have strong communication skills with excellent customer service experience.
  • Have a technical and engineering mindset, comfortable problem solving and fault finding, being solution focused.
  • Ability to deliver tasks with a focus on both quality and quantity.
  • Be organised and efficient when updating relevant data/records.

The Technical Support Supervisor position is offering GBP30,000 - GBP34,000 basic salary plus benefits. This is a full-time, permanent position, based at our client’s office in the Harrogate area.
