Description

My client, a global diagnostics company, has a rare opportunity for a Technical Support Representative to join their team. The role covers the Midlands (east, west, and south) to Oxford, M4 strip up to Reading, with the furthest locations being Ilfracombe, Plymouth, and South-West Wales. The position offers up to £33,000, an £850 monthly car allowance, bonus, and other benefits. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, from 08:45 to 17:00.

Responsibilities include:

1. Visiting customer premises to provide technical support
2. Handling technical customer inquiries via telephone and email
3. Installing, validating, and calibrating customer instrumentation on-site
4. Demonstrating various software products
5. Promoting and selling products and services where appropriate
6. Providing technical assistance to customers
7. Traveling nationally and internationally as required
8. Creating, maintaining, and improving procedures within the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
9. Working to GMP standards
10. Contributing to departmental PDP
11. Organizing calibration and maintenance of sales equipment within the UK Office

The role focuses on promoting sales and supporting existing customers, with a requirement to seek new business opportunities and provide technical support across the UK and Ireland.
