Job description

Vet Direct is a multi-functional shop for progressive veterinary practices; fulfilling consumable, uniform, instrument and equipment needs. Vet Direct are an important part of the CVS. Vet Direct are excited to be recruiting for aTechnical Support Nurseacross over 35-40 hours a week (flexible) Monday – Friday.

Summary of role:

  • Gain and maintain extensive knowledge of our equipment and products
  • Accurately and confidently, deliver technical support and training to customers and sales teams.
  • Develop technical support libraries and training videos on the use, maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Provide information leaflets on new equipment.
  • Supporting the repairs department and liaising with manufacturers to resolve technical queries and warranties.
  • Co-ordinating the loan service for equipment.
  • Maintain and share accurate records on equipment that develops faults during warranty period.
  • Supporting the integrated repairs department.
  • Selling of products from the Vet Direct portfolio.

Key Skills Required:

  • Qualified, preferable Registered Veterinary Nurse (Orthopaedic knowledge an advantage).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with use of Microsoft software and Teams.
  • Well organised with a methodical approach to prioritising workload.
  • Team player with a high level of dedication and a positive outlook.
  • A bias and determination to understand and gain hands on experience with the full equipment range.
  • Problem solver with an eye for detail.
  • Empathetic approach to customers and colleagues.

In addition to an hourly rate of £14.50, we offer a range of company benefits including:
