Technical Support (Maternity Leave Cover), United Kingdom

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Support (12-month contract, maternity leave cover). This role is highly collaborative and requires drive, organization, and an excellent NGS background. You will work closely with different business sectors and deliver technical support activities to achieve customer satisfaction and business growth.

Location

Remote - the ideal candidate will need to be based in London, Cambridge, or Oxford. Scotland can also be considered.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Communicate with sales teams to promote business opportunities and complete quarterly and annual payment collection and settlement targets.
2. Maintain timely communication with customers to resolve pre-sales issues and provide solutions when necessary.
3. Analyze regional potential customer groups and collect relevant customer information.
4. Conduct research and analysis on market requirements, product competitiveness, and the latest industry technologies.
5. Travel as needed to support client meetings and company events.
6. Support other business requirements as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. PhD or M.S. in molecular biology, genetics, or related fields. Experience in high-throughput sequencing is preferred.
2. Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
3. Proactive, with a pioneering spirit. Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
5. Native language speakers will be a significant advantage.
