We are now looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our dynamic Service Delivery team in Poole, Dorset. This is a key role within our Field Services function, specialising in providing technical support, spare parts, and lifecycle solutions for marine and industrial systems. Our team of highly skilled engineers, technical specialists, and service professionals is committed to ensuring that our customers' equipment operates at peak performance throughout its lifecycle.

What you’ll be doing

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will:

  • Deliver expert technical support across the entire WAW product line, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer issues.
  • Manage and coordinate field service operations, utilising highly skilled Field Service Engineers and third-party contractors to meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-level customer support, building strong relationships with customers and shipowners.
  • Provide quotations, manage service orders, and ensure accurate documentation in SAP.
  • Support field engineers, review service reports, and ensure follow-up actions are implemented.
  • Promote additional services, upgrades, and spare parts to enhance customer value.
  • Ensure compliance with QEHS policies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What we’re looking for

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A strong mechanical and/or electrical marine engineering background (HND/HNC or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in technical support, including troubleshooting and field service.
  • Excellent understanding of P&ID, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally, including overseas.
