Job summary

TRS Consulting is recruiting for a Technical Support Engineer to service Medical Pathology Analysers in the United Kingdom. The role offers a hybrid pattern with two days at home and three in the office, a 37.5-hour week Monday to Friday, and a package including a £37,500 base salary plus a £6,000 bonus, totaling £43,500 in earnings.

You will provide technical support and first line fixes via telephone and connectivity tools, assist customers with issues on diagnostic analysers, guide users

Qualifications

• Experience in a service engineering capacity within high value capital equipment environments.
• Engineering/electronics ONC level or higher is required.
• Full training will be provided for the product range.

• Providing technical support and first line technical fixes via telephone and by using connectivity tools
• Supporting customers with technical issues on a range of medical diagnostic analysers
• Guiding users through troubleshooting via phone and video calls
• Escalating unresolved technical issues to the Field Service Engineering team

Your Background

Technical Support Engineer, Medical Pathology Analysers

• A competent background in a service engineering capacity gained within any high value capital equipment environment
• Applications are encouraged from engineers with a broad range of backgrounds, including laboratory device, medical device, pharmaceutical device, ex forces engineers (medical & dental, weapons systems, radar) and a wide range of other electronic or electro-mechanical from other sectors
• A qualification in engineering, electronics or a science based subject to a minimum of ONC level
• Applicants are welcome from field service engineers from a broad base of sectors, as full and comprehensive product training will be provided
