Job description

Job Title: NOC Analyst/NOC Support Engineer
Location: Redhill (Shift work 4 on 4 off)
Salary: £23,000 - £40,000 DOE + 3.5% shift allowance + bonus
Security Clearance: Must be eligible for SC

My client is a leading global independent provider of satellite communications and IT management solutions, delivering services to their global customer base across the complete technical portfolio.

Skills:

  1. Provide 2nd line technical support and customer service for all technical service issues across various solutions, utilizing multi-carrier bearers (Ka/Ku/L Band, LTE), bespoke virtual environments, and associated infrastructure.
  2. Conduct IP traffic analysis, investigate routing and switching faults across local and remote infrastructure, including wireless standards.
  3. Perform RF analysis and interpret satellite link statistics to resolve satellite-related issues and generate network reports as requested by internal and external customers.
  4. Proactively monitor GCSC networks, investigate alarms, issue outage reports, respond to high-usage alerts, and resolve service issues, escalating when necessary.
  5. Ideally hold CCNA or JNCIA certifications, though not essential.
