Position Overview: Semac Automation is seeking a skilled and dedicated Technical Support Engineer with a background in industrial process engineering and measurement instrumentation. The ideal candidate will possess the technical expertise and experience to provide high-level support for our sophisticated products and solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient resolution of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify Hardware and Software Solutions: Diagnose and provide solutions for various technical issues related to hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot Technical Issues: Efficiently identify and resolve technical problems faced by customers.
  • Diagnose and Repair Faults: Analyze and repair hardware and software faults to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Install and Configure Hardware and Software: Set up and configure systems and software for clients.
  • Follow Up with Clients: Ensure issues are resolved satisfactorily by maintaining regular communication with clients.
  • Replace or Repair Necessary Parts: Conduct necessary repairs or replacements of hardware components.

Certification, Knowledge, And Experience Requirements

  • Greek Citizenship
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field is mandatory.
  • Experience: Junior (1-3 years) or medior (3+ years) working experience is required.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in measurement instrumentation, services, and solutions for industrial process engineering is essential.
  • Technical Support Experience: Must have prior experience working as a Technical Support Engineer.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Mobility: Ability to travel and hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Language Skills: Must be fluent in English.
