Job description

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a well-established supplier of various types of electric vehicles and lifting equipment who are looking for a new Technical Support to work in their depot in the North West. With a competitive package and bonus opportunity, this is a great opportunity for an individual with a strong mechanical background looking to move into a new role.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting customers with general queries and service related issues
  • Monitoring service projects from start to finish whilst providing excellent customer service
  • Liaising with the workshop and field service teams to ensure service is carried out effectively and efficiently
  • Leading and mentoring service team
  • Assisting the after-sales team where required
  • Carrying out all related administrative tasks
Requirements

The company has a preference for an individual from a similar background either in electric vehicles, commercial vehicles, or material handling due to the requirements of the role. Given that they also supply cleaning equipment, an individual from this sector would also be a possibility as would individuals from other sectors with strong pneumatics experience. You will be able to lead a team and mentor them when needed. In terms of location, you will need to be based within commutable distance of northern Manchester.
