Our client is looking for a Technical Support Administrator to join their machine tool automation company based in Milton Keynes.

About the company
Our client is one of the UK’s leading firms that provide automation solutions to engineering companies. Their products include barfeeding and robotic automation equipment as well as other precision engineering solutions.

About the role
As a Technical Support Administrator, you will work closely with the Service Co-ordinator scheduling Field Engineers’ jobs and workload, process purchase orders and be the main point of contact for:

  • Service telephone calls
  • Field Engineers on site
  • All spares enquiries and quotes, ensuring the correct parts go out on time to the customer
  • Following training, provide technical service support to include problem solving and fault diagnosis

Full product training will be given.

About the responsibilities
In the role of Technical Support Administrator, your duties will include:

  • Providing first line telephone support for all company products
  • Ensuring stock of spares is accurate
  • Improving procedures for spares stock
  • Overseeing the service email inbox to ensure all enquiries are answered
  • Supply customer quotations, raise works orders and delivery notes
  • Monitor and follow through completion of jobs, machine orders and spares orders keeping customers informed at all times.
  • Upload Service records to the company database and follow up outstanding issues / parts / re-visits / modifications required
  • Manage fleet of company vehicles
  • Assist with the administration of Certificates of Conformity for customers
  • Any other Ad-hoc duties as required

About you

About the hours & rewards
For the position of Technical Support Administrator, you will work 36 hours per week and there is a salary on offer of £27,000 per annum. Benefits include:
