Our Team: Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations: the Motorsport Competence Center of Audi in Neuburg (Germany), the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), and the Sauber Motorsport Technical Center in the UK. Our Power Unit is developed in Neuburg, while Hinwil focuses on chassis and race operations.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is based at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg, Germany.

In the Energy Recovery System (ERS) division, you will work as part of the department management team on developing and testing key components that enhance power unit performance and competitiveness.

This position is available starting January 1, 2026.

Your Mission

• Supporting the head of the ERS department as an interface between development teams and workshop
• Assisting in planning, coordination, and implementation of ERS development projects
• Supporting department management in budget planning for ERS projects
• Coordinating test and deployment planning for ERS components
• Planning assembly of components with responsible teams and workshop
• Optimizing development processes and methods
• Analyzing technical data and preparing reports
• Ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards

Your Profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related field
• Experience in motorsport or electric drive system development, with project management skills
• Development experience with electric drive systems for motorsport or similar environments
• Strong organizational skills and team spirit
• Analytical and structured working approach
• Passion for motorsport and innovative technologies
• Proficiency in German or English; willingness to learn the other language
