A leading recruitment agency in analytical instrumentation is seeking a Principal Recruitment Consultant focusing on LC-MS technologies. The role involves acting as a Technical Expert, supporting customers both in lab settings and during site visits. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 3 years' experience with LC-MS instruments, excellent communication skills, and confidence in presenting complex scientific information. This position offers a competitive salary and requires travel across the North of England and Scotland.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience with LC‑MS instruments (including QQQ and/or QTOF).
• Understanding of method development, optimisation and troubleshooting (ideally small‑molecule analysis).
• Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting scientific information to an audience.

A world leader in analytical instrumentation is seeking an accomplished, ambitious and commercially astute LC-MS Technical Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Act as Technical Expert with split time between lab and visiting customers in pre and post‑sales support functions.
• Aiding in development of customer methods.
• Demonstrating methods / proof of concept.
• Providing technical support to the sales team.
• Providing customer training and support.
• Attend high‑profile industry conferences, presenting technological advancements and helping to build the company’s customer base with a focus on mass spectrometry instrumentation.

Qualifications

To be considered for this highly dynamic and diverse role, you must be able to work from home in the North of England or Scotland and be expected to travel approximately 50% of the working week to customer sites across the North of England & Scotland and the applications laboratory in Milton Keynes, with occasional overnight stays.
