Job summary

Talos is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to lead end-to-end implementations for institutional clients and trading counterparties. You will manage onboarding, integrations, and connectivity setups to ensure seamless deployment of Talos’ trading infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in client onboarding or implementation within capital markets or fintech, plus strong communication and technical skills in APIs, FIX, SQL, and scripting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in client onboarding or implementation within capital markets or financial technology.
• Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to lead stakeholders through structured implementation processes.
• Experience working with institutional trading systems, market connectivity, or financial infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of SQL and command line environments.
• Familiarity with configuration management, source control, and basic scripting (Python preferred).
• Exposure to FIX protocol, REST APIs, and JSON-based integrations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding from kickoff to production deployment.
• Lead integrations via APIs, FIX, and platform config.
• Collaborate with Sales, PM, Eng and partners to deliver on schedule.
• Track timelines, milestones and status to stakeholders.
• Configure and validate client environments across trading systems.
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with engineering.
• Create onboarding docs and best practices.
