Job summary

Maxwell Bond is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join our Manchester-based team. You will design scalable solutions, APIs, and platform enhancements that fit our existing product ecosystem while balancing business needs, scalability and maintainability.

You will gather requirements across business units and translate them into clear technical specs and delivery plans, acting as a bridge between customers, business teams and engineers to support delivery and integration projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role, with a hands-on software development background.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, system architecture, microservices, database design and cloud technologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders and take ownership of customer-facing technical discussions.

This is a pivotal role sitting between engineering, operations, commercial teams and customers. You'll take ownership of designing and shaping new platform capabilities, ensuring solutions integrate seamlessly into an established product ecosystem while balancing business needs, scalability and long-term maintainability.
