Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

A Technical Solution Architect oversees the design, documentation, and implementation of software solutions (either bespoke or commercial off-the-shelf) to solve business problems and meet user needs.

This includes:

• Designing robust software architectures capable of meeting both functional and non-functional requirements in collaboration with clients and colleagues.
• Achieving consensus on solution designs, technology choices, and delivery approaches with client stakeholders.
• Providing expertise on solution architecture concepts to both Informed and client teams.
• Ensuring implementation remains aligned with the original architecture and client outcomes across multiple increments.
• Representing your team and client in technical governance forums.
• Influencing company-wide architecture standards and promoting best practices.
• Supporting the professional development of team members and sharing best practices.
• Contributing to the growth of Informed’s Engineering capability through recruitment and training initiatives.
• Staying updated with the latest technology trends through industry events and forums.

Requirements

As a Technical Solution Architect at Informed, you will have:

• Experience with enterprise architecture patterns, including integration, security, and scalability.
• Experience collaborating with client technical stakeholders to define and agree on solution architectures.
• An unbiased perspective on technology stacks used for solutions.
• A proven track record in collaborative design and decision-making with clients.
• Knowledge of modern digital services architecture.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Background in Agile environments, delivering software in controlled increments.
• Understanding of programming languages, distributed systems, cloud technologies, and CI/CD pipelines.

Desirable Skills and Experience

• Experience with legacy system integration and modernization.
• Skills in developing architectural roadmaps and operationalizing data science and ML components.
• Ability to evaluate solutions using frameworks like AWS Well Architected.
• Experience designing architectures handling sensitive data.
