Full-Time Permanent Ofsted-rated Good College in Berkshire
Salary: £36,000 £39,000 per annum
Are you passionate about supporting apprentices to achieve their full potential? We re looking for a dedicated Technical Skills Coach to join a well-respected further education college group in Berkshire, with campuses in Slough and Langley.
The Role:
As a Technical Skills Coach for Motor Vehicle, you ll manage a caseload of Motor Vehicle Technician Apprentices, providing high-quality coaching, mentoring and assessment. You ll play a key role in guiding apprentices through their training programme, ensuring they re fully prepared for their End Point Assessment. You ll build effective relationships with employers and support them in meeting apprenticeship standards, conducting regular progress reviews and formative assessments both onsite and remotely.
What We re Looking For:
  • A relevant Motor Vehicle qualification or equivalent experience.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Level 2.
  • An Assessor qualification (A1) or willingness to work towards one.
  • Experience supporting learners and employers in an apprenticeship setting.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office and e-portfolio systems.
